Twinlakes is an event centre with brand new executive facilities. Twinlakes looks out over panoramic lake, river, rural and town views. We offer 3 event rooms that cater to various size functions.

We are a family business, who are proud of the North Waikato and offer our facilities to community minded oganisations at discounted rates. We are also home to 3 offices of community oganisations.

We are a commercial business in the community with a cause.

The Journey

In mid 2007 Twin Lake Ventures (TLV) was established to purchase the iconic Hilltop Rugby Clubrooms. The name coming from the properties view over the two adjacent lakes.

Once established by the Henderson family in Huntly, TLV set about restoring the 1970ʼs vandalised building to again be a centre for the community to use.

The planning of design and aesthetics developed over 18 months as zoning changed, floor plans were drawn, and consent was processed.

It was decided that Twinlakes was to be a multiplex with 3 event rooms, 3 offices for community oganisations and a living quarters.

Reconstruction of the building started in November 08 and was completed in May 09. The whole building was re-fitted and renovated top to bottom.

Twinlakes was opened to the public on the 29th of May 2009, and has since hosted over 200 events, including conferences, weddings, quiz nights, parties, training days

and even hosted government ministers. Twinlakes welcomes your inquiries for your next function.
